Nach einer Vorlage von Gunther R. Lys beleuchtet Monk deutsche Teilung und Errichtung der Mauer in Berlin anhand des Portr\u00e4ts zweier Familien. Er analysierte, wie die Wurzeln jener Teilung bereits in den politischen Widerspr\u00fcchen in der Zeit von Weimarer Republik und Nationalsozialismus zu suchen sind.<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> <span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"> Egon Monk pr\u00e4gte als Regisseur und Leiter der Fernsehspielabteilung beim Norddeutschen Rundfunk den westdeutschen Fernsehfilm ab den 1960er Jahren. Ausgehend von der Brechtschen Theater\u00e4sthetik und dem Dokumentartheater Erwin Piscators vermischen sich in Monks Produktionen fiktionale und dokumentarische Anteile.
